1. Written by Wegslice, on 05-11-2009 22:01 WOW! I had no idea this scam was still going on. I was duped wayyy back in 1996. Sounds like the same stories and scams. I went to find my office location after 3 months... but they kept pushing it off. I never saw anyone profit more than a few bucks or have it pay off in the long term.
2. Written by CHance, on 25-10-2009 11:20 Hey they arent a scam. The brain washing? Well that was my first initial thought to when I met my trainers....That "brainwashing" is them getting you juiced or motivated. And the name changes...Yes a lot of diffrent company's work for them...thats the proof they intend to get you in an office...the name changes so it is your own...Not theirs, not the guy next doors, yours. We sell in the begining to learn how to deal with coustomers and rejection, the averages game. Every no gets us closer to a yes. I have gotten to meet alot of visiting owners in the time I have been there, and even been taken on by one. This buisness may seem shady, but even with your own buisness...it's a leap of faith, and one that pays off if your tough enough to take the training. ![]()
3. Written by Liz, on 05-10-2009 13:28 I contacted the St.Louis news about "five star" they told me that I need to report it to the attorney general which I plan on doing and I suggest that anyone who has been scammed by these people should do the same.
4. Written by Liz, on 30-09-2009 08:16 Has anyone made it past training just to see if they get their promised office? I am in training right now and I can't seem to figure out if its a scam or not? I know it seems like a shady business but there is no way that they can scam that many people and not get sued! It would be very easy to get a class action law suit against them so if their a scam why has no one done that yet?
5. Written by The Viper, on 08-09-2009 10:42 I went into the first and second interview and thought nothing of it, It really ticked me off that i could be so stupid to not look into the company i was about to pledge my life to. I got to orrientation where you get your nicknames, my group chose exotic cars there for the viper and they thought it would be a good idea to send us out with no products to sell the items. luckily none of my friends and family had the money for it. but to take a little break i went to my mothers and she told me to look them up in the Better buisness Bureau. I could not find anything about my location which was Lucrative management is Portland, Or. After readint that they do not give you licenses to solicit and that you can go to jail because of them and they wont back you up i booked it. I am a 19 year old with a clean record. My boyfriend was in the class with me and we are contacing the Better buissness bureau tonight we know that its not much of help but it better then doing nothing. we decided that their work is imoral and could never do anything like that. Thanks World Wide Web! The viper ![]()

Written by fitch, on 29-07-2009 23:23 i personly went through training at lucid managment and though it was hard it is in no way a scam. it is just hard. some people cant cut it so they bad mouth to make themselves feel better. while i am no longer in training, due to personal reasons, i respect everything that matt and dayane did for me. this is a real oppertunity with a lot of money to be made if you have the time and dedication. |
7. Written by Ben, on 04-07-2009 00:08 Scam? not at all. I'm in the training program. anyone thats been around more than a week in the program sees just how much money we make. Having my own office will without a doubt in my mind change my life for the better. Before anyone says i'm brainwashes and no one gets an office. I've personally seen four people get their offices. I've been to the offices i've seen the numbers we put up every week in sales. Its not for everyone that much is obvious but its also not a scam. WORRIED MOTHER: trust in your son. if he's determined and motivated he will be all right. I've gotten nothing put positive experiences from scentura. I have confidence that i never had before and im learning how to be a sucess in life from my office manager. I'm in a different office but David and Jenny originally hired me and everytime i happen to see them at the office im training in i make it a point to thank them. This is a positive and uplifting experience for those that can take it.
8. Written by Worried mother...., on 28-04-2009 21:01 My 20 yr old son is in to this company also. It seems like a brain washing. I dont understand how you can work 12 days 7 days a week and still think that down the road it will all pay off. Do you have any advise to help him to get out. I hope in time that the light will go on in his head and he will see it for what it is. It seems like it should be criminal!! Help!! Give me some ideas or hope!!

10. Written by Jen Reynolds, on 06-10-2008 09:08 My boyfriend went through the exact same thing. You were probably in class together. All these promises. And then when he told me he wouldn't be getting a "paycheck" until training was completed, I flipped out. He said he would make cash bonuses. Anyway, when I saw the "perfume" and that the boxes said Scentura Creations, I googled it and found all hes scam information. He went back the next day and tries to get the money back for the perfume he had sold and they refused. Conveniently the perfume he sold was "out of stock". He ended up giving the "samples" to the people he sold to and explaining the situation. This is the second person I know of the has run into this scam. Another friend of mine responded to an ad and ended up in Arnold, MO. Same exact thing. BEWARE!!!!
