i had a bad feeling from the start about this company, but i ended up going to the 1st and 2nd interview just because i was desperate for a job. they make it seem like its a dream job- you get to have your own office, hire people, etc. and that we would be making tons of money (during training too).so i go to the orientation and then the day after that- and everybody is heading out to sale sale sale. i thought ok-- maybe we're going to some special sight just for this one day to try and sell the products. but we ended up going business to business. my 2nd day of selling- a police office actually gave me a ticket for soliciting. i go back to the office and they said- oh, we'll take care of it, and then they crumbled it up and threw the ticket away.
it seemed like i was one of the few people that worked there who actually drove, because i was the one who always had to drive around to each business place. and because i'm too nice for my own good, i also bought lunch for one of the people too, since they had no money.
it wasnt until the third day of selling that i looked up the company's name online and found ALL these things about how it is a huge scam and blah blah blah. that very next day- i went to the office and confronted them about the articles i read.
one of the managers told me that they saw those articles too when they first started-- and how i shouldn't listen to people that make less money than me...
seriously? did he seriously just say that?
let's just say i quit that day.
a few weeks later, i realized that my court date for the soliciting ticket was in a couple days, so i called up the office and asked if they took care of the ticket yet.. and they said not yet. and that they were going to send a letter out at the end of the week. they told me that they would take care of that ticket right away and then maybe 3 weeks later- and they still didn't do anything about it.
i plan on going to court tomorrow and telling them about how big of a scam the company really is and end this once and for all.

| 4. Written by Ron, on 21-09-2009 15:45 Scentura is a scam in the truest sense of the word! Is there money to be made? Yes, and alot of it. But it's not made by peddling cheap perfume, it's made by convincing desperate people to go out and sell this crap without paying them a wage under the guise of "training". This way people like Kevin can sit in some tiny office (until the company packs up and moves to another town under a new name) and pretend they are legitimate business people earning a good salary for honest work. The consumer gets what they pay for, but the real victims are these trainees who peddle this stuff on the streets without realizing that the real corporate goal is for them to get frustrated and leave so that they can start the cycle over with a new sucker. How much of your 10K a week gets paid out in employee wages and benefits? I didn't think so. It's morally corrupt cons preying on desperate workers. Way to go Kevin. You're living the Amerian dream... |

Written by Secure and plenty paid, on 13-08-2009 17:12 Hey Kevin, I would hate to inform you but in the opinion of myself and others (myself being a person who was given the keys and turned them down) I could see how much of a scam it actually is. You have to lie to people to get them to work for you for a few days, sell perfume and cologne to friends and family, get them to go out and merch, and make you a lot of money, and the few who stay longest are all hoping to get an office so they can make the same money you make. Some people are just honest and decent while others would sell their own mother for a buck. Where do you stand in this world? I was glad I didn't take the office. I don't know if you actually noticed the high turn over rate. In the 6 months I was in the business I saw almost a thousand people come and go. So keep on scaming people and I hope the money can buy you your soul back. |

| 8. Written by Ben, on 03-07-2009 23:52 sorry i'm with kevin on this one. I keep seeing post after post of people online pissed off at scentura because they just couldn't *** it. You want to make it and be sucessful you have to put in the work. I've been in the training program for scentura for a while now. I'm currently a senior manager and one of the next in line for his office. I've personally seen four people get their offices. I've seen the offices in person, I know how much money they are making now, i know the new office managers personally. THIS BUSINESS WORKS!!! Anyone thats been around for more than a week sees all the money we make. And i am by no means a "soulless" and "deceiptful" person as people who failed call all of us. I am the nicest and most honest person many people know and have plenty of references to the fact. If you couldn't *** it admit to it. The business wasn't for you. Now go back to your sad life where you aren't willing to put it on the line to get what you want. You deserve to stay there. |
| 9. Written by Dee, on 10-04-2009 14:35 Yea Kevin for Scentura all these words are exactly what everyone else says. People like you ruined my life. I left you guys after quickly realizing the stupidity, but it was so late. Thank god I got back up and I am making great money have a great life style and don't have to go out and humiliate myself to sell fake perfume. |

Written by D, on 07-04-2009 14:57 U idiot just cuz it worked out for you doesn't mean the people who didnt find scaming people to get to the top a way to make their living doesn't make them a loser...ur ignorance disgust me...ur to stupid to see that they used you to the only difference is ur mentality is too much like theirs so ur going to use other people to. I guarantee you that when u open ur office u will tell ur people the samething that u were told and that they told me...a bunch of LIES!!!! Ur going to quit working for them to eventually everybody does even the ones who've made millions...cuz the reallity of the fact is u can't give everyone an office...ur netting 10k a week because u got people selling for u promising them a whole buch of bull ***...don't be blind to the fact that the business is scam just cuz u learned from their scam |
